(On-Site Work - Not Remote). About UICOMP The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) educates 265 medical students and more than 300 physician residents and fellows annually. Additionally, it provides clinical care to more than 31,000 patients annually and conducts basic science, clinical and outcomes research. UICOMP is a regional campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, a part of the University of Illinois Chicago and University of Illinois System. Position Summary Employees working at this level of Stream and Power Plant II, perform maintenance and repairs throughout the campus. Employees perform skilled mechanical work in repairs, operations, maintenance of heating/cooling plant, refrigeration, and/or other related mechanical equipment throughout the campus. They work under the general supervision from the Superintendent of Building Maintenance. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Valid Illinois Driver's License preferred Refrigerant Certification preferred HVAC experience preferred. Experience with electrical systems preferred. Trouble shooting skills in HVAC and Electrical system preferred.
