For more information, visit www.momentivetech.com Tools & Gauge Quality Technician The Tool & Gauge Quality Technician plays a critical role in supporting the quality function within Momentive Technologies. The role is responsible for the calibration, maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of approximately 1,400 precision measurement devices, including micrometers, calipers, CMMs, microscopes, pyrometers, analytical balances, and industrial scales. This role ensures that all measurement equipment used in production, quality control, and R&D meets required accuracy, reliability, and compliance standards. Working closely with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, and R&D teams, the technician manages the full lifecycle of measurement devices - including calibration, verification, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and documentation. They maintain the integrity of the metrology system by scheduling and performing routine calibrations, conducting capability studies (such as G&R), and ensuring proper storage, handling, and traceability of gauges.
