Summary: Our Internship program offers students an opportunity to receive training in a professional environment. Throughout your internship, you will gain on-the-job experience while working alongside experienced professionals who provide you with both guidance and autonomy as you work on challenging projects. Our internship programs run from May - August each year.


Project and responsibilities: The goal of this project is to create maps and digital updates of SkyWater's Drain Water piping, as well as update existing facility documents to ensure they reflect current standards and practices. This initiative aims to enhance accuracy, capacity, and maps of the current piping.


Key Objectives
* Collect and digitize existing layout of water and wastewater lines, including floor plans, equipment layouts, and utility schematics.
* Organize documents systematically in a centralized digital library to streamline access for engineering teams.
* Develop a user-friendly interface allowing users to search for specific terms and keywords within the digital library.
* Review and revise facility documents, including process piping
* Collaborate with engineering teams to gather insights and ensure all updates are accurate and comprehensive.
* Create user guides and training materials to assist staff in utilizing the new digital library and search functionality effectively.
* Conduct training sessions to familiarize team members with the system and gather feedback for further improvements.
* Formalize the system into a controlled document


Required Qualifications:
Degree Program: Completion of Junior year + in a bachelor's degree program in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
Skills & Coursework: Experience with computer-aided design programs, preferably AutoDesk AutoCAD, and ability to read facility schematics.

The hourly range for this role is $25.00 - $32.00 per hour. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
