Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination within a fast-paced project environment. This role is responsible for receiving, tracking, organizing, and distributing materials to ensure teams have the resources they need to meet project timelines. The ideal candidate has experience in shipping and receiving, inventory systems, and safe operation of warehouse equipment, along with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials using inventory tracking systems and spreadsheets
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders while resolving discrepancies
- Organize and store materials to ensure efficient retrieval and accurate inventory control
- Transport materials from the warehouse to job sites to support field teams
- Track purchase orders and follow up on missing or delayed shipments
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Build, update, and manage inventory trackers and reports using Microsoft Excel
- Load and unload materials using proper handling procedures and equipment
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
- Track company-owned tools and maintain proper documentation and accountability
- Identify damaged materials and coordinate corrective actions
- Ensure materials are organized, accessible, and available when needed by the team
- Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building and maintaining tracking spreadsheets
- Experience using inventory management systems and material tracking processes
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, labeling, and storage best practices
- Familiarity with cycle counting, order picking, and inventory control procedures preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and power tools safely
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience driving a box truck preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds, work at heights, climb ladders, and operate warehouse machinery
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a commercial warehouse or similar environment preferred
