Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Project Manager Assistant Level 2 provides intermediate support to project managers, assisting with administrative and coordination tasks, and managing smaller project components with oversight.

  • Administrative Support
    • Schedule and prepare for meetings, manage mid-level communication, and maintain organized project files.
  • Project Coordination
    • Support PMs by coordinating specific project segments, assisting with budgeting, and performing initial takeoffs under guidance.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Assist in generating project status reports, maintain logs, and support tracking of project progress.
  • General Support
    • Support the project team and complete tasks assigned by higher-level PMAs or project managers. Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment and act as a resource for PMA Level 1.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Flexibility to perform other assigned tasks to support the overall business objectives, while proactively seeking opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or related roles required.
  • Competency with project management software and Microsoft Office required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving required.
  • Must meet company, client, and/or regulatory compliance requirements, which may include a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), criminal background check, drug screening, or other screenings, depending on job duties or site access requirements required.
  • Experience in project estimating and familiarity with quoting and takeoff processes is highly desirable preferred.
  • Experience working on projects that involve cross-functional teams preferred.
  • Familiarity with the use of specialized project management or estimating software preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This job involves both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.

The employee may occasionally be required to:

  • Perform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing.

Pay Rate Details: Up to $33/hr depending on skills and experience.
