Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, logistics, and finance
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements design effective recruiting strategies
- Source passive and active candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry or location specific boards, military transition programs, and clearance job sites
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, coordinate additional interviews and manage onboarding compliance
- Extend offers and participate in compensation discussions and negotiations
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system
- Collaborate with HR and security teams to ensure timely onboarding
- Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with staffing agencies and external vendors
- Continuously improve job descriptions, postings, and application processes to attract high-quality candidates
- Identify and develop internal candidates for open roles and increase visibility of internal career opportunities
- Create interview guides and tools for hiring managers to standardize and enhance the selection process
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either at corporate or agency level
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and OFCCP guidelines
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., UKG, Workday or similar)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
Desired Skills:
- Experience with manufacturing technical recruiting is a plus
- Experience supporting high-volume hiring and surge staffing needs
- Familiarity with government contracting requirements and FAR/DFARS regulations
- Knowledge of defense industry job functions and technical terminology (e.g., systems engineering, CNC machining, quality standards like AS9100)
- Ability to build strong pipelines and talent communities for hard-to-fill roles
- Prior use of sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other job board
- Strong analytical skills to assess recruiting data and improve sourcing strategies
- Military recruitment or veteran outreach program experience is a strong plus
- Certification such as AIRS, CIR, or PHR/SPHR is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboards, telephones and other office equipment
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift light office supply (up to 15 lbs)
- Clear verbal communication and active listening during interviews, meetings and phone calls
Compensation Information Base Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
