Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and requests with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license and an armed post requiring the appropriate armed guard card or license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Operate in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws for armed posts, including carrying authorized equipment, maintaining required training, and using sound judgment when escalating situations.
• Complete detailed reports and logs on patrols, incidents, and notable observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
