DIVISION STATEMENT

The Commercial Flight Controls Division, headquartered in beautiful Ogden Utah is a global leader in aerospace flight controls.

We are the preferred supplier of flight control solutions for the commercial, regional, business jet and advanced air mobility marketplace by offering a premier customer experience with superior engineered products that exceed our customer and regulatory requirements.

We've broken ground with more-electric technology and electromechanical flight control systems. Looking ahead we're further improving flight control actuation for traditionaland advanced air mobility (AAM) aircraft with new technologies and manufacturing advancements.

POSITION SUMMARY

Install, maintain, and repair electrical components of industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and Parker policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, components, control panels, and related systems.
  • Bend conduit, pull wire, and lead in the design and layout of electrical systems.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of electrical components, electrical safety codes, and regulations in daily work.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including crawling, climbing, standing for extended periods, and operating tools near live or potentially live electrical components.
  • Safely operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts (training/certification as required).
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and to specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.
  • Interpret and make decisions based on technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and instructions.
  • Perform quality testing, troubleshooting, and inspections on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Assist other maintenance functions as needed (e.g., machine repair, hydraulic systems, general facilities repairs, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Licensed Journeyman in the State of Utah
  • 5-8 years of electrician experience or related field working with all voltages up to 480V.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Working knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
  • Ability to determine electrical load requirements and load limits on electrical service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions from supervision and work effectively within a team.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage projects, and make sound decisions.
  • Willingness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., heavy lifting, ladder climbing, crawling, working at heights).
  • Reliable, consistent attendance.
