Job Summary: As a Custodian, you will perform routine duties under general direction of supervisor to keep offices, breakrooms, restrooms, buildings and plant facilities clean and orderly. Essential Functions:
- Sweep, mop, wax, and polish all floors throughout the facility.
- Remove trash, pick up litter, and maintain clean tables and surfaces.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and rugs, and wash windows.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, and restock supplies.
- Clean kitchens and break areas, including microwaves, refrigerators, tables, and chairs.
- Disinfect doors, baseboards, walls, drinking fountains, and sinks.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and coordinate with supervisor and purchasing for orders.
- Maintain landscaped and exterior areas by removing weeds and ensuring all outdoor spaces are clean, orderly, and visually appealing.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
- Ability to operate power floor scrubber, buffer, and general cleaning tools.
- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
- May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.
- May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
- May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
