Summary:
As the Channel Partnerships Sr. Director you will lead the development and execution of Bamboo Health's channel partner strategy. This critical role serves as the external voice of the company with existing and prospective partners. You will drive growth, mitigate churn, and build strategic alliances that expand our market reach. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and play a key part in driving the success of our care coordination, behavioral health, and controlled substance solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Bamboo Health's channel partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact for partners and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen existing partnerships, mitigate churn, and drive new growth opportunities.
  • Identify gaps and develop strategies to expand channel partner relationships across all business segments.
  • Oversee the health and performance of channel partnerships by working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product, and Product Strategy teams.
  • Develop and execute Health Information Exchange (HIE) strategies, enhancing partnerships for Bamboo Health's care coordination suite and Bamboo Bridge.
  • Manage and grow existing partnerships within the controlled substance and care coordination suite of products, such as DrFirst, Altera, and Zus.
  • Collaborate with Growth and Product Strategy teams to align channel partner initiatives with behavioral health product expansion.
  • Serve as a key negotiator in partner contracts and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Regularly assess partnership performance, providing reporting and insights to leadership.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance workflows through AI or automation tools (e.g., document summarization, task routing, or data parsing).
  • Stay curious about emerging AI tools and how they can streamline or enhance work within your function.

What Success Looks Like...
In 3 months:

  • Completion of a comprehensive inventory of existing channel partnerships, identifying areas for growth and improvement including but not limited to Oracle.
  • Development of a strategic roadmap for strengthening partnerships and addressing identified gaps.
  • Development of a RAF channel strategy that has buy-in from executive leadership.
  • Re-negotiated agreements with Altera, Zus, and WISHIN.
  • Begin incorporating AI-supported tools into your day-to-day work-whether through analysis, documentation, or task management.

In 6 months:

  • Establishment of at least one new channel partnership contributing to growth aligned with 2025-2027 company objectives.
  • Strengthened relationships with HIE partners, including MiHIN, WISHIN, and HSX, to reduce churn and drive market expansion.
  • Successful execution of VITL implementation in alignment with Vermont's Secondary Use Policy.
  • Successful execution of enterprise agreement with Athena.

In 12 months:

  • Development of at least two new growth-driving partnerships that align with Bamboo Health's long-term goals.

What You Need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in channel partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare or technology sector.
  • 3+ years of experience in negotiating and managing complex contracts with external partners.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets and mitigating partner churn.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and lead through influence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for partner meetings and conferences.
  • Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools) to improve daily workflows.
  • A forward-thinking, curious mindset with an openness to experimenting with new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and creativity in designing solutions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
  • The ability to travel frequently for partner meeting and conferences.
