Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Purpose:

The payroll Supervisor leads delivering accurate, compliant, and seamless payroll for our employees. You will partner closely with the HR team to drive operational excellence while collaborating with HR, the business and our vendors. The Payroll Supervisor will help advance our payroll capabilities, strengthen controls and systems, and elevate the overall employee pay experience. This role is located in our Hartland Wisconsin office with one work at home day per week. Employees must be in office on Monday's.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across employee populations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory and process compliance.
  • Review payroll results, reconciliations, and system data to maintain integrity, employee data accuracy, audits, and payroll system effectiveness.
  • Partner with the HR, Finance, IT and the business to execute payroll strategy, process improvement, regulatory priorities, and other projects increasing our payroll capability and system security.
  • Lead and develop the payroll team, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, payroll regulations, and internal controls, including SOX requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, related field, or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including operational leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll operations, wage and hour regulations, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and implementation (e.g., Paylocity preferred, Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), preferred.
  • Experience in multi-state or complex payroll environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls and audit support preferred.
