General Assembly Operator - Fireline division

Job Summary: General assembly and light manufacturing of Fireline520 products. Cutting, taping, and packaging to established production and quality standards.

Primary Duties:

1. Complete knowledge of Fireline520 product line.
2. Understanding of general manufacturing hand tools and measuring equipment.
3. Assist all shipping functions.
4. Pick and package orders.
5. Fabricate and assemble products as needed to maintain current stock levels to ensure on time deliveries.
6. Perform periodic cycle counts.
7. Follow all current ISO book instructions and POS procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to demonstrate the following:

• Communicate effectively with Plant Manager, Production Lead person and co-workers.
• Manufacture product as needed for orders and stock.
• Any assigned miscellaneous duties.
• To meet or exceed customer expectations
• Able to operate forklifts and production tools.

Specifications:

1. Good written and verbal communication skills.
2. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
3. Have a basic understanding of manufacturing software programs.
4. High School diploma and some college preferred.

Job Relationship:

1. Reports directly to Plant Manager.
2. Works closely with all manufacturing employees.

Authority:

• Authority to stop production for non-conforming quality or safety compliance.
• May authorize changes in machine or production schedule for department.
