Credence has an immediate opening for an Application Development Analyst supporting the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW) and Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC/A35).

The Contractor shall serve as a junior analyst and technical contributor supporting the development and delivery of TACApp, a software capability that enables centralized storage, management, and deployment of applications for open architecture Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. This role directly supports the Air Force's transition to software-centric Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO).

Specific Support Tasks are as follows:

  • The Contractor shall support coordination with HQ ACC/A35 and the 350 SWW to assist in the development and delivery of TACApp capabilities aligned to EMSO and EW mission requirements.
  • The Contractor shall assist in the design and development of mission-focused software applications, incorporating UX/UI principles to improve usability and mission effectiveness.
  • The Contractor shall support Agile development activities, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative development cycles.
  • The Contractor shall contribute to front-end software development efforts, including development of user interfaces and basic data visualizations under senior guidance.
  • The Contractor shall conduct user research and data analysis to capture requirements, identify user needs, and support development of functional software solutions.
  • The Contractor shall apply established development methodologies and tools to support application design, testing, and deployment.
  • The Contractor shall assist in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of TACApp functionality to ensure alignment with user requirements and performance expectations.
  • The Contractor shall support documentation development, including technical documentation, user guides, and status reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • The Contractor shall assist in analyzing system performance, identifying issues, and supporting process improvement and optimization efforts.
  • The Contractor shall support integration and scaling efforts to expand TACApp capabilities across EW platforms.
  • The Contractor shall contribute to program management activities, including tracking tasks, updating work plans, and supporting deliverable completion.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year of consulting, technical, or related experience.
  • Experience or familiarity with software development concepts, Agile methodologies, or application development environments.
  • Exposure to front-end development, UX/UI design, or data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify user needs, and support development of technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting program management activities, including task tracking and deliverable development.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to contribute to reports and briefings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support senior staff in execution of project objectives.

Work Environment

  • Travel required: Monthly travel to Eglin AFB (3-5 days)
  • Security requirements: Compliance with all applicable system access, cybersecurity, and training requirements prior to accessing government systems.
