A global leader in medical technology is seeking a Quality Engineer - Product Performance Analytics to support post-market surveillance, complaint investigation, and data-driven quality improvement efforts. This role is centered on analyzing product performance data, identifying trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance product quality and patient safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working with data analysis, quality systems, and risk management rather than hands-on product interaction. You will play a key role in translating complex data into meaningful insights that drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Hours and Pay



  • Pay Rate: Up to $37.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
  • Additional Notes: Local candidates preferred

Daily Responsibilities



  • Review returned product analysis, customer feedback, and historical data to accurately code product complaints
  • Perform complaint investigations in accordance with established quality system processes
  • Analyze post-market surveillance data to identify trends, patterns, and potential product performance concerns
  • Escalate field performance signals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and improve outcomes
  • Support responses to Competent Authority Requests and regulatory inquiries
  • Communicate product performance insights through presentations, reports, and cross-functional discussions
  • Apply statistical methods and data analysis tools to support product performance and risk management documentation
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the development of team strategies
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, outlining work plans, timelines, and resource needs
  • Maintain flexibility to support evolving priorities, new product lines, and additional engineering responsibilities



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, data analysis, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts, applied statistics, and data analysis techniques
  • Experience working within quality systems, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to contribute to a team focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement



Preferred Qualifications



  • Engineering degree with 2+ years of medical device industry experience
  • Understanding of post-market surveillance, complaint handling, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with CAPA investigations, quality system escalations, and field assessments
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Experience collaborating with teams such as Medical Safety, Design Assurance, Supplier Development, and Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of hazard analysis and risk assessment methodologies related to product performance trends
