QC/QA Laboratory Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Overview:

Seeking a QC/QA Lab Technician to support chemical and physical testing for quality control and production operations. This is a contract role with potential for direct hire. Benefits offered (no PTO or paid holidays at this time).

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Perform routine QC sampling (every 4 hours) and additional testing as needed

  
  
• 
  

  Conduct chemical and physical analyses using lab instrumentation

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare composite samples and assist with sample shipments

  
  
• 
  

  Communicate test results with production teams

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain accurate lab records and a clean work environment

  
  
• 
  

  Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

  
  
• 
  

  Assist with troubleshooting and general lab support

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED required; science coursework or degree preferred

  
  
• 
  

  6+ months of lab, manufacturing, or production experience preferred

  
  
• 
  

  Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

  
  
• 
  

  Strong communication and attention to detail

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to follow procedures, perform basic math, and work safely

  Physically active role (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.)

  
  
• 
  

  Requires use of PPE, including respirator (provided by Advantage Technical)
