Job Description

About the role

The IT Application Delivery Manager isresponsible forleading a team to delivernewfunctionalityof Supply Chain applicationsacross business groupswhileensuringimprovementstoexisting systems

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Ensure the application portfoliooperatesmatching the business operational schedules
  • Meet agreedSLA'sfor all application areas
  • Support the implementation oftheLogistics and Planning applications
  • Resource Capacity planning including communication of constraints, alternative resource options,prioritiesand expected delivery dates of developments to business and Demand Managers / Business Relationship Managers
  • Manage anySupply Chainescalations within area of responsibility
  • Oversee third party service providers, whenrequired.
  • Participate in developing standardlogisticsand planningpractices across the business. Ensurea high levelof simplification and convergence across the differentSupply Chain) templates.
  • Build stakeholder networks to ensure that theSupply Chainorganisation is recognized as strategic business partner. Software release management including developments and patches
  • Participate in strategic applications long and short-term strategy development
  • Lead, mentor, and manage staff tooptimizeperformancethrough clear and effective communication to create a positive team environment.
  • Assess technical skills,identifytraining needs and opportunities, and ensure thatrequiredmaterials and tools are available for direct reports to perform their job responsibilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of projects and change within the relevant application area modules.Actively communicating project status/ issues and ensure that business needs are understood and met.
  • Collaborate with the IT demand managers.
  • Create estimates for future projects and define capacity needs
  • Enforce policies and procedures to continuously improve the delivery of theSupply Chainsolutions and to be compliant with agreed policies such as SOX
  • Managing and drive the (Logistics and Planning) release process.
  • Management of metrics related to projects, applicationdevelopmentand incident resolution

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years' experience in IT or equivalent with supervisory, project management, consulting, and business process reengineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent English.Other languages helpful but notrequired
  • Experienced in international / RegionalSupply Chainprojects, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the systems development lifecycle.(SDLC)
  • Business process understanding
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Relationship building with all levels of stakeholders
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Effective team builder
  • Written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues with both technical and non-technical people
  • Detail oriented, able to think 'big picture' and understand the levers thatimpacta business.
  • Ability to handle a high degree of ambiguity and a fast-paced environment where prioritiesfrequentlychange
  • Accountable for delivering projects on time
  • Effectiveorganisationaland interpersonalskills.
  • Rolerequiresup to20%travel,predominantly withinNorth America
