MaineHealth Gastroenterology is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing department and support high-quality, patient-centered care. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values teamwork, communication, and mutual respect. As an MA in GI, your day-to-day responsibilities will include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, completing prior authorizations, and assisting with other administrative tasks-for which dedicated administrative time is provided. You will also play a key role in helping patients understand and prepare for their procedures, working closely with providers and colleagues to ensure a positive and informed patient experience. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with flexibility in scheduling (4 or 5 days). The role also offers the potential for hybrid work one day per week once training is complete. Preference will be given to candidates residing within one hour of Biddeford to support participation in on-site meetings and trainings.
