Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You'll work alongside supportive and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of Automated People Mover (APM) and other turnkey transportation projects across North America. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and operations, to optimize processes, track progress, and support the Project Engineering Managers (PrEMs) in their technical and strategic responsibilities. You'll also contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the adoption of digital tools to enhance group performance.

You'll specifically take care of assisting PrEMs with project engineering tasks, such as managing work packages and tracking deliverables, but also contribute to ongoing requirements management and process standardization efforts.

We'll look to you for:

  • Assisting PrEMs with Work Package (WP) management, updates, and tracking
  • Supporting the monitoring of as-bid/as-sold vs. actuals and EAC by standardizing reporting methods
  • Preparing, updating, and organizing engineering deliverables and documentation structures
  • Utilizing digital tools, including AI, to improve group performance
  • Analyzing and harmonizing processes across projects, such as LOMs, engineering drawing hierarchies, and CDRLs
  • Contributing to requirements management improvement initiatives
  • Supporting tool transitions and acting as a liaison between PrEMs and tool owners
  • Preparing cross-project engineering dashboards and summaries
  • Consolidating KPI tracking, engineering progress, and risk/opportunity follow-up

All about you

  • We value passion and attitude over experience. That's why we don't expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial, or equivalent) or Project/Systems Engineering with familiarity in technical environments
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience or understanding of project engineering management processes
  • Knowledge of requirements management and process standardization
  • Familiarity with engineering tools and data structure organization
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to propose improvements
  • Fluency in English (French language skills preferred for VIE program requirements)

Things you'll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also:

  • Work with cutting-edge technology and innovative transportation systems
  • Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and supportive colleagues
  • Contribute to transformative mobility projects that serve millions of passengers

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
