Job Description

PURPOSE

This position monitors daily schedules and activities, ensuring efficient coordination, support, and execution of all logistics functions related to warehouse operations, outside service facilities, and product movement. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space, scheduling shipments, and supporting production requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Maintain professional conduct at all times and comply with ISO & SQF guidelines.

* Complete all required MyDevelopment and HR training courses (e.g., Safety Absolutes, Amcor Code of Conduct, GMP/HACCP, Active Shooter, Culture of Inclusion).

* Monitor and organize warehouse operations: Load/unload shipments and trailers, inspect and approve/reject trailers based on safety and quality standards, maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, verify inventory and resolve discrepancies.

* Coordinate and support special projects: Develop and communicate production schedules to meet customer demands, communicate production conflicts and implement alternate plans, monitor inventory levels and coordinate trailer movements to maintain supplies.

* Manage inventory control: Perform cycle counts and correct discrepancies, monitor inventory and place orders as needed.

* Maintain open communication with internal teams and external vendors.

* Cover shifts and vacations as needed.

* Perform other tasks as directed.

AUTHORITIES

* Monitor and optimize warehouse utilization.

* Approve trailer readiness for shipment.

* Coordinate and order supplies to maintain production.

* Communicate with various teams to correct inventory, order parts, and resolve problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma/GED equivalent.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong PC and analytical skills; proficiency in DcLink, JDE, Excel, and other in-house systems.

* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Fork truck certification required.

* Ability to work independently in potentially isolated areas.

* Proven decision-making skills and ability to coach team members.
