The Sales System Analyst is responsible for accuracy and compliance of brand and independent sales systems and databases. The position will generate, process, audit and deliver core and ad hoc reporting for properties, regions and corporate as required via HEI Sales SOP's. Supports properties in weekly system audit process and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and audits the use of HEI Sales systems, ensuring accuracy in accordance with HEI Sales systems related SOP's.
- Manages and administrates sales system databases to ensure data integrity for accurate reporting, including maintenance of security of confidential materials stored in the database.
- Conducts initial and follow up training and helps develop training tools and job aids, including but not limited to Delphi, CI/TY, Envision, VAW, Meeting diagram programs. Leverages brand training and SOP's where applicable.
- Creates ad hoc database queries and custom reports (with approval), including reports to support system audit, sales prospecting, TD data analysis, revenue management and incentive calculations.
- Prepares, delivers, audits and analyzes all mandated daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual hotel reports in a timely manner.
- Conducts weekly sales system audit in partnership with Hotel DOS to ensure integrity of sales systems and data.
- Serves as the primary helpdesk contact for database and sales systems issues, performs various trouble shooting duties via helpdesk ticketing system.
- Supports new hotel transitions on an ad hoc basis to deliver HEI processes and standards and database compliance to new hotels including historical data capture.
- Analyzes data and reports and provides feedback and strategic recommendations to the regional and corporate team to support revenue growth.
- Ensures the Hotel DOS has access to and a good working knowledge of HEI core reporting via the reporting center, to maintain a self-service reporting function for properties.
- Formulates, delivers and supports sales systems standards and procedures (in conjunction with brand standards).
- Performs any other assignments as directed by senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills Education and Experience
- Must possess advanced computer skills experience.
- A minimum 2 years' of sales system experience (Delphi, Envision, CI/TY) including analytics.
- Must possess demonstrate experience communicating with both Sales and IT professionals to support sales systems success.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to partner with vendors and brand partners during new product installation as well as trouble shoot any issues.
- Good working knowledge of HEI SOP's and Sales Systems.
- Ability to create, maintain and audit database tools to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Ability to project manage and multi task duties as assigned and set up assigned users in sales systems.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel, SSRS, Crystal report writer, and industry sales and catering software (e.g. Delphi, CI/TY, Opera).
Working conditions Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
Compensation Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annually
