The impact you'll make

As a Program / Project Manager 5 in HR, you play a critical role in planning, executing, and sustaining complex HR initiatives that span functions, regions, and systems. You translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensure disciplined execution, and enable HR programs to deliver measurable business and people outcomes. Your work improves scalability, consistency, and effectiveness across HR.

What you'll do
  • Lead large-scale HR programs and projects from initiation through delivery, including scope definition, planning, execution, risk management, and closeout.
  • Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to translate business and people strategies into clear program goals, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies, escalating as appropriate and driving resolution.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across leadership, HR teams, IT, and business partners to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Schedule ongoing and ad hoc project meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Track progress against commitments and provide clear, executive-ready status reporting on outcomes, risks, and decisions.
  • Support change management activities, including communications, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning.
  • Ensure HR programs and projects align with Lam's governance, policies, and operational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and identifying opportunities to strengthen HR program delivery.
  • Support the vendor selection and procurement process.
Who we're looking for
  • A strong project manager with the ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
  • Proven collaborator who can influence without authority and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Organized, detailoriented, and resultsdriven, with strong followthrough.
  • Clear communicator who can tailor messages for technical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable operating independently while knowing when to escalate or seek alignment.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross functional initiatives in a corporate environment and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience supporting Human Resources, people programs, or HR technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with program and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with interdependencies.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
