Licensed Financial Planning Assistant

SUMMARY: Provides administrative support to all Investment Executives regarding use of the Money Guide Pro system and providing professional client service for all clients using Farmers Financial Planning service. This position will also provide support to Private Client/Wealth Management relationship managers regarding all financial planning needs. Additionally this position will use Series 6 license (required) and Series 7 license (if available) to service clients as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide sales assistance for Investment Executives in assigned offices related to Money Guide Pro software system
• Gather all client data essential for the implementation of a Financial Plan
• Utilize Money Guide Pro for all Financial Planning clients with in the department
• Gather department data from all Investment Execs and compile into multiple reports and tracking software.
• Transfer funds to and from Cetera Financial Institutions (daily wires)
• Generate reports for use by other banking and financial services personnel at the request of the Program Manager
• Perform customer follow-up and maintain clerical files related to Financial Planning clients
• Provide clients with account information upon request
• Update and generate reports for Reg. Rep./Program Manager
• Create hypothetical illustrations for clients
• Assist in developing and coordinating marketing events
• Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
• Complete all other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in financial services
• Current Series 6 License required, Series 7 and Life Insurance license preferred
