Service Desk Technician - Richmond, VA (12-Month Contract) SCHEDULE REQUIREMENT: Friday-Sunday 6pm-6am + 4 hours during the week (your choice when). The Role: Our client is bringing their Service Desk operations back in-house and needs a Service Desk Technician for their Richmond, VA plant. This is a hybrid role: 50% Service Desk support and 50% hands-on plant support. You'll be the first line of defense for end user issues via phone, email, and chat, and handle on-site troubleshooting for anything that can't be resolved remotely. What You'll Do: * Provide first-level phone, email, and chat support for all end user issues * Use ServiceNow ticketing system to document and track issues * Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory issues * Handle on-site support for the Richmond plant when remote troubleshooting isn't enough * Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and follow through to resolution * Deliver excellent customer service in a manufacturing environment What You Need: * Experience with Help Desk or Service Desk support in an enterprise environment * Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Active Directory * Solid troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11, hardware, and ticketing systems * Customer service skills - you'll be working directly with plant staff who need fast, reliable support * Flexibility and reliability to work the required schedule Why This Role?
