Job Purpose: Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinate DOEs, PFMEAs , and other process improvement related projects, and write reports. Must be detail oriented, team player, flexible and self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills in interacting with team members and customers. Manage assignments with urgency and drive completion efficiently. Must possess ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. This role in concert with quality organization ensures that customer requirements are implemented and met. Responsibilities includes but not limited to: configuring BOM's/routings for PCBAs/ systems in accordance with the product structure, standards and internal procedures, development and implementation tooling and processes , MPIs development and shop travelers and submit them through the ECO into Agile/Oracle environment. Education and Experience: -BS in Engineering Discipline (master or PhD preferred) with minimum 2 years experience or equivalent in supporting PCBA processes. -The position requires working knowledge of automated pick-and-place machines, reflow oven profiling, stencil printing equipment, Wave soldering and tooling design experience. -Strong background in SMT processes and process development with the ability to serve as a technical representative. -Familiar with Box Build/System integration, Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range(annual): $83,000- $95,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program. | |
