Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Purpose

This position will provide full administrative support to SVP, Sanmina Power and Energy Solutions. In addition, this admin could be relied upon to support members of the SVP's leadership team. You will also manage cross-functional calendars utilizing G Suite; heavy calendaring; organize meetings, videoconference and conference calls; quickly develop an understanding of the teams operations, culture, policies and procedures; help plan and execute offsite meetings for team; have interaction with top Executive Administrative Assistants and Executives within Sanmina; handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information; provide report and presentation generation and/or consolidation support for internal, customer and corporate meetings and submittals, complete expense reports; proactively manage team support, ranging from printer management, supplies, facilities and more.

Nature of Duties & Responsibilities



  • Experience in heavy calendar management while scheduling, coordinating and hosting key meetings and events
  • Global scheduling experience; dealing with calendars, events and travel in multiple countries and time zones
  • Create and/or consolidate presentations for meetings in G-Suite and/or Microsoft PowerPoint at the direction of SVP or staff.
  • Communicates with the SVP's Senior Staff on his behalf and coordinates logistics with meetings both internally and externally.
  • Research international travel requirements, submit internal visa applications, and ensure team members are well-equipped for travel
  • Complete expense reports using the Concur application
  • Responsible for distribution of Company Internal Memos
  • Experience interfacing with executives and high-profile individuals including customers and government officials
  • Manage all facility-related requests, working cross-functionally with the Facilities team and building representative
  • Support on-site meetings and events, including room reservations and catering
  • Assist in all event planning, including team building activities and off-sites
  • Extraordinary work ethic while balancing the needs of the individuals and the business


Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in related field or years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years' experience as an Executive Assistant or serving in a roll of similar level of complexity with proven capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google applications (Calendar, Doc, Sheets) as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Travel management and logistics - international and domestic experience a plus
  • Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense
  • Calm under pressure, sense of humor, good with people and ability to keep confidence on sensitive matters
  • Possess a "can-do" attitude for all situations, no task too big or too small to handle
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and assertive approach to handling tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure
  • Knows how to work effectively as a teammate, in a collaborative environment, work well with peers and members of the organization
