Primary Function

Supports behavioral health program performance by collecting,validating, and analyzing clinical and operational data to improve safety, access, and quality of care in a high-security detention facility.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build,maintain, and automate dashboards (e.g., suicide watch metrics, mental health referrals, psychotropic medication adherence, waiting times, critical incident trends).
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation across EHR, pharmacy, and scheduling systems; resolve discrepancies with clinical leadership.
  • Develop standardized reports for command staff, QA/QI committees, and accreditation audits (e.g., monthly KPIs, CQI measures).
  • Support case reviews and morbidity/mortality meetings with quantitative analysis and visualizations.
  • Maintain data dictionaries, codebooks, and SOPs for measurement methods and version control.
  • Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance and secure handling of protected health information (PHI).
  • Train end users on report interpretation and data entry quality practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with federal privacy standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, data science, psychology, or related field;Master'spreferred.
  • 2+ years of healthcare analytics or quality improvement experience; correctional/forensic setting preferred.
  • Proficiencywith the Microsoft Suite and at least one analytics tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL basics.
  • Understanding ofbehavioral health measures, screening tools, and levels of care.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations.
  • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, resided in the US for 3 years in the past 5 years.
  • Must complete all required training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EHR reporting (e.g., eClinicalWorks) and incident management systems.
  • Knowledge of accreditation/standards applicable to high-security detention health services.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
  • Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work in a secure facility andcomply withsecurity protocols.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods andlift upto 25-35lbsas role requires.
  • Participate in drills and emergency responses as assigned.
