As a Security Officer - Unarmed - Overnights in Horicon, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or access needs, document observations, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and security-related protocols at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials and/or visitor authorization; and report policy violations or maintenance concerns through the designated chain of command.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observed conditions to site contacts, and assist with traffic and/or truck flow during shift changes and deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
