- Understanding of concurrency programming resource management paradigms.
- Experience writing concurrent multi-threaded programs in golang.
- Solid understanding of fedora-based Linux distributions (Rocky or RHEL).
- Fluent in git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Heavy automation experience that adheres to software development disciplines with strong knowledge of Terraform. A desire to ""automate everything"" is the right attitude.
- Possess a thorough understanding of Internet based technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, Email Routing, etc.).
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communications and reaching across different production teams.
- Solid understanding of IP network technologies and software tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting (Datadog and Cloud Watch are a plus.
Nice to Haves
- Certificate Management.
- AWS Event Bridge, VPC Lattice, Resource Configurations.
- AWS EC2.
- S3.
- In conjunction with a desire to ""automate everything"", the perfect candidate has a desire to ""document everything"".
- A platform-agnostic understanding of web traffic management, including CDNs, Load Balancing, and SSL certificate management.
- Load balancers (F5 or A10 GSLB and SLB).
- Docker for desktop.
- Should be familiar with Terraform and Ansible.
- Working knowledge of AWS with experience building a high availability infrastructure.
- A platform-agnostic understanding of web traffic management, including CDNs, Load Balancing, and SSL certificate management.
