As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Pathfinder in Fairfield, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an assigned location, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will report observations, respond to service requests, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while maintaining a professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, greet and direct visitors, and assist with basic badge, key, and/or visitor management processes according to post orders.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and oncoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
