Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Operates packaging equipment in accordance with established safety rules and regulations.

  • Maintains packaging area in compliance with good housekeeping standards.

  • Visually inspects and monitors the product to meet quality compliance during line operation as directed in the Master batch Record.

  • Packs miscellaneous products into displays or promotional shippers as directed in the Master batch Record.

  • Follows all safety procedures and rules as described in SOP's and training provided.

  • Monitors the product for compliance with quality standards.

  • Maintains inventory of packaging materials which include the auditing of materials received from the distribution center and the reconciliation of materials after production is complete.

  • Has the ability to count and return labels at the completion of production batches.

  • Assists the Group Leader with pulling labeling and compiling the necessary samples to meet the sample requirements for a production run.

  • Within area of responsibility, understand and comply with all safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • Minimum two to five years related experience.
