Position Overview The National Programs unit at LISC includes the following programs: Health, Economic Development, Income and Wealth Building, , Child Care & Early Learning, Safety & Justice, and Sports & Youth Development. Our unit works to ensure all LISC National Programs are 1) high-quality, self -sustaining, revenue-producing, 2) partnering with local offices on fund development, technical assistance, and sharing of best practices, and 3) supporting high impact in communities that align with LISC's mission, NorthStar, and strategic priorities. We believe that when LISC's National Programs support and design community-powered local initiatives centered on learning, and in partnership with local offices and their partners, we will develop strong national programs which are relevant, respectful, and resourceful. Our team is seeking a full time Senior Program Officer to join the National Programs unit. The Senior Program Officer will work under the guidance of the Senior Vice President, National Programs to help drive coordination within the National Programs department, across teams at LISC, and to increase the operational efficiencies of national programs. The ideal candidate has experience in working cross-functionally, project management, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously, building strong relationships, and has a strong understanding of the community development sector.
