As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist staff and visitors, document activity, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and security-related protocols, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report security-related concerns such as unsecured doors, suspicious behavior, and maintenance hazards, submitting clear written reports and completing required logs.
• Support client operations by assisting with visitor management, directing employees and guests, and coordinating with local emergency services when requested by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
