Manager of School Partnerships

School Year (220-day Assignment)

What We Seek

The Manager of School Partnerships is a passionate, mission-driven professional who helps educators make meaningful connections between Carnegie Learning's products and effective classroom practice. This role becomes a trusted partner to schools and districts, serving as a coach, facilitator, and ambassador for our products and approaches. By modeling best practices and supporting implementation with integrity, the MSP helps teachers experience the value of our solutions in ways that enhance their instruction, simplify their work, and positively impact student learning.

The School Year MSP role is a "220-day assignment" position (details below), reports to the Director of Professional Learning in their region, is content-specific (Math, ELA, or World Languages), and works collaboratively within and across the department to best meet the needs of our customer partners.

What Your Day Will Look Like
Managing School Partnerships

  • Building and sustaining customer partnerships with teachers, building-, and district-level leaders, and instructional coaches, leveraging those relationships to ensure successful implementation of Carnegie Learning products and foster best practices.
  • Communicating regularly with leaders at multiple levels to ensure transparency, garner support, and build capacity.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying risks and developing effective action plans for resolution, making routine decisions within established guidelines and escalating complex or novel issues to the Director of Professional Learning.
  • Collaboratively setting partnership goals (either at the school or teacher level), collecting and analyzing data to track progress, and using that data to inform ongoing work.
  • Participating in partnership meetings, when appropriate, to discuss implementation data and determine next steps.

Delivering High-Quality Professional Learning

  • Facilitating engaging professional learning workshops centered on Carnegie Learning products, best practices in teaching, and content expertise.
  • Delivering intentional and impactful, job-embedded professional learning (formal coaching cycles, demonstration lessons, co-teaching, lesson planning, PLC facilitation, etc.).
  • Refining workshops and learning experiences, when appropriate, to meet the unique needs and contexts of our partners.
  • Upholding Carnegie Learning's core commitments in every interaction-approaching educators with belief in their potential, honoring their voices and expertise, empowering their ownership of implementation, and inspiring progress and purpose in their growth.
  • Leveraging data to drive teacher growth, inform ongoing support, and track partnership progress.

Operations & Documentation

  • Following the Professional Learning process in all aspects of delivery: planning, confirming, communicating, executing, and following up.
  • Ensuring timely completion of all documentation, including digital sign-ins, workshop feedback, coaching and support logs, courtesy emails, coaching feedback forms, and other deliverables.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the Deliverables Doc, including forecasting deliverables and managing your calendar.

Other Fun Work

  • Regularly reviewing customer feedback (e.g., workshop evaluations and coaching feedback) to identify areas of growth and ensure the highest-quality delivery of professional learning.
  • Growing yourself professionally in the areas of adult learning theory, research-based best practices in teaching, professional learning design, leadership, and related fields.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or apparent.

Exuding Our Team Core Values

  • PASSION: Exuding a positive, contagious energy around the work we do
  • CURIOSITY: Seeking out new information and experiences, questioning the status quo, exploring possibilities
  • FLEXIBILITY: Quickly and calmly responding to changing circumstances
  • AGENCY: Appropriately taking initiative in your work and professional growth
  • PARTNERSHIP: Developing and effectively using collaborative relationships (internally and externally) to drive your work
  • INTEGRITY: Consistently demonstrating our core values through your work
