As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Attendant in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, maintaining visitor logs, issuing passes, and directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and/or access control systems and report irregular activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with scene control as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report conditions that may impact operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
