Department:Marketing & CommunicationsDepartment's Website: Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Marketing, the director aligns web strategy with institutional priorities, enrollment growth, brand standards, and user experience expectations. The position oversees development within the university's enterprise content management and catalog platforms, manages integration with the university's customer relationship management system, and ensures analytics frameworks are in place to measure performance across organic, paid, and CRM-driven efforts. The director establishes and enforces web governance standards, ensures compliance with accessibility guidelines, and supervises the Web Manager, who supports distributed content editors across campus. This position may be performed on campus in Fort Smith, Arkansas, or remotely. Periodic travel to campus may be required to support strategic planning, major initiatives, and collaborative engagement with university stakeholders. Additional Information: Supervision Reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Marketing. Working Relationships Works within the University Advancement division and collaborates regularly with academic and administrative units across campus. Maintains frequent contact with faculty, staff, and university leadership. Special Job Dimensions The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility as required by project deadlines and institutional priorities. This position may be performed remotely; however, periodic travel to campus may be required. Occasional travel to professional conferences or training sessions may also be required. Work is performed in an office or professional remote setting. The employee must be able to collaborate effectively in both in-person and virtual environments. The position requires extended time at a computer and the ability to move about campus during on-site visits. The employee may occasionally lift items over 10 pounds.
