You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will also greet employees and visitors, respond to requests, document activity, and communicate clearly using computer and/or tablet tools. You will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift, leading with teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout offices, common areas, loading and dock spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors; assist with visitor processing and direct individuals to appropriate destinations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, alarms, suspicious activity, and policy violations; notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
