KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Group Reservations & Inventory Management to join our operations team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the onshore and nearshore team responsible for management of group registration and meeting services at KPMG Lakehouse, an eight hundred room Learning, Development, and Innovation Center in Lake Nona Florida; oversee registration process, attendee management, and analysis; establish performance goals, provide feedback and guidance to counselees on an on-going basis regarding job performance, career development, and match capabilities with potential development opportunities; take an active role on the team, as a working leader, by directly managing complex programs as needed
  • Onboard and integrate new team members to inspire and bring team members and their ideas together; regularly engage with counselees and those they work with to help them continuously improve and foster an environment that motivates others to perform at peak levels of achievement
  • Work to increase counselees' engagement, job satisfaction, and pride; act as a model for doing the right things, display high personal integrity and embody behaviors consistent with the firm's values; lead training for Meeting Services team, including onsite management and event technologies
  • Leverage registration systems expertise to solve complex meeting registration problems and establish best practices; ensure operational excellence for programs by collaborating on assigning resources, process creation and documentation, and problem solving with an innovative approach; monitor team utilization and produce analysis to forecast trends and future needs, ensuring the team is positioned for ongoing success
  • Demonstrate collaboration and relationship management with leaders from Lakehouse ops groups, Program Delivery and other adjacent areas of operation
  • Group Room Forecasting and Analysis - Generate group rooms forecast on an ongoing cadence, identifying and communicating deviations to standard operation (low occupancy, overflow dates, weekend occupancy, and more); produce ongoing, scheduled analysis of reservation trends to include attrition, occupancy/utilization history, and deep insights linking occupancy trends to parts of the business to better understand how the Firm is leveraging KPMG Lakehouse
  • Optimize overall group room usage for KPMG Lakehouse, ensuring group housing needs across programs are fully met while maximizing use of the center for the benefit of the Firm; review change requests for confirmed programs and make decisions regarding room block adjustments based on inventory management best practices to optimize one hundred and fifty thousand annual group room nights; anticipate, secure, and actively manage overflow accommodations on dates when registrations exceed capacity
  • Act with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in the hotel or events industry, including direct people leadership
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; minimum High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in Cvent or similar registration platform, Analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or advanced skills in Excel
  • Revenue Management, Inventory Management, Group Reservations, Rooms Control or similar roles with rooms forecasting and analysis responsibility
  • Strong verbal/written communication, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority and must lead and support an environment driven by client focus and teamwork; uses strong problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in-person at our Lake Nona, FL office
