Job Details

Join Haemonetics and help secure the future of connected healthcare

At Haemonetics, we are continually expanding our core talent to support innovation across our portfolio of medical technologies. If you're seeking a role where your cybersecurity expertise directly contributes to safer patient outcomes - and where you can influence both strategy and execution - this position offers a unique opportunity.

We are looking for a Manager of Product Cybersecurity to lead cybersecurity activities for our medical devices and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). This is a handson leadership role: you will guide a small team while personally contributing to secure architecture reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and global regulatory submissions. You will work closely with R&D teams to ensure our products are securebydesign and delivered to market efficiently and compliantly.

What You Will Do

You will oversee cybersecurity across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to postmarket support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and performing threat modeling, risk assessments, secure design reviews, and security requirement definition.

  • Partnering with engineering teams to embed securebydesign practices across hardware, firmware, cloud, and software components.

  • Managing vulnerability intake, triage, remediation, coordinated disclosure, and CVE/SBOM analysis.

  • Guiding incident response efforts, including rootcause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Driving cybersecurity contributions to FDA submissions, EU MDR documentation, and other global regulatory requirements.

Your role will also be essential in building clarity and consistency within the organization. You will mentor engineers, refine cybersecurity processes, and help create a culture where security is integrated early and proactively.

Who You Are

You bring deep technical experience combined with leadership instincts. You have:

  • 8+ years in cybersecurity, including work on medical devices or SaMD.

  • Strong handson skills in secure software development, threat modeling, and risk analysis.

  • Experience operating in regulated healthcare environments.

  • At least 3 years leading or mentoring cybersecurity professionals.

Experience with FDA submissions, SBOM standards, cloud security in healthcare, or relevant certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, HCISPP) is a strong advantage.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will help ensure that cybersecurity becomes a seamless part of development rather than a latestage barrier. Products ship securely and on time; risks are transparent and well managed; and regulators view our cybersecurity program as mature, structured, and trustworthy.
