Summary
This Aerospace Inside Sales & Sales Operations Specialist is a commercial force-multiplier for Dunmore International's aerospace business. The Aerospace Inside Sales & CRM Solutions Specialist sits at the intersection of revenue execution, CRM ownership, and cross-functional coordination. The position exists to increase sales velocity, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure that Dunmore's CRM platform is a trusted operating system for the commercial organization.
This is not a traditional inside sales role and not a pure Salesforce admin position. It is designed for a commercially minded professional who thrives on ownership, structure, and impact in a technically complex, regulated market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Aerospace Inside Sales (Primary Commercial Focus)
- Own and manage a defined portfolio of Tier 2 aerospace and defense supplier accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact for repeat programs, material specifications, and platform-driven opportunities
- Qualify and progress inbound aerospace leads-primarily from Tier 2 suppliers and sub-system manufacturers-originating from marketing, trade shows, and technical inquiries
- Support Aerospace BD Managers by managing opportunity flow, follow-ups, quotes, samples, and next steps
- Act as a consistent customer-facing point of contact for program status, commercial coordination, and basic technical questions
- Maintain working knowledge of Dunmore's aerospace-relevant materials, including coated, metallized, laminated films and specialty substrates
- Identify and advance upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer programs and long-term platforms
- Support sales forecasting, opportunity reviews, and Tier 2 account planning for aerospace programs
- Back-up Customer Service overflow
- Support International customer inquiries
CRM Ownership & Sales Operations (Equal Priority)
- Serve as the day-to-day owner of CRM platform for the commercial team
- Maintain account structures, opportunity stages, data hygiene, and activity discipline
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for pipeline, forecast accuracy, lead conversion, and account activity
- Manage lead flow, routing, and lifecycle discipline in coordination with Marketing
- Act as first-line support for CRM users, training, and process questions
- Identify and implement CRM process improvements that reduce friction and improve adoption
- Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and IT on CRM enhancements and integrations
Cross-Functional Enablement
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to support aerospace customer requirements
- Ensure customer commitments, documentation needs, and internal handoffs are tracked and visible
- Translate CRM data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making

- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, pipeline management, and forecasting

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Two (2)+ years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, or commercial support within a B2B manufacturing or technical environment
- Demonstrated hands-on CRM experience (reporting, dashboard design/construction/deployment, user support, process discipline)
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling into Tier 2 aerospace suppliers, defense, aviation, or other regulated technical markets
- Exposure to engineered materials, films, coatings, laminations, or roll-to-roll manufacturing
- Salesforce Administrator certification or willingness to obtain
