**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and design-sensitive engineer to join our dynamic team. This critical role involves bridging the gap between design and engineering by rapidly prototyping complex UI components and interactions. You will work closely with our design team, transforming static mock-ups into functional, pixel-perfect prototypes that bring innovative ideas to life. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position, requiring strong front-end engineering skills and an innate understanding of design principles to deliver high-quality, quick-turnaround solutions that are integral to our project outcomes. This role is crucial for driving project outcomes through technical and design contributions, implementing complex UI components and computational design features.

**Responsibilities**

* Rapidly prototype and implement complex UI components and interactive experiences from design concepts.

* Translate design intent into functional, pixel-perfect front-end code using modern web technologies.

* Act as a crucial bridge between engineering and design teams, fostering seamless collaboration and ensuring technical feasibility.

* Develop and integrate sophisticated animations and interactions that align precisely with design specifications.

* Utilize design tools for effective design translation and prototyping, working efficiently with design files.

* Leverage advanced prototyping tools for efficient development and iteration.

* Ensure the highest standards of UI quality and attention to detail, maintaining pixel-perfect fidelity across all deliverables.

* Manage and integrate UI component systems, contributing to scalable and reusable code practices.

* Take full ownership of solutions, proactively identifying and addressing potential user experience or technical risks.

* Drive project work by actively writing code to implement and iterate on user experiences.

* Facilitate consensus on technical and UI topics through clear documentation and regular project meetings.

* Deliver high-quality prototypes and solutions within demanding project timelines.

**Qualifications**

**Must-Have:**

* Proven expertise in front-end engineering, including strong command of modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).

* Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with design translation and prototyping tools.

* Demonstrated "design sensitivity" with a keen eye for UI quality and pixel-perfect execution.

* Ability to rapidly prototype and deliver functional, interactive experiences.

* A compelling portfolio showcasing the transformation of design concepts into technical prototypes.

* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with design teams.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

* Strong understanding of product design principles and the product development lifecycle.

* Capability to independently identify, analyze, and anticipate potential user experience or technical issues.

* Knowledge of universally accessible design principles.
