(This position requires up to 20% travel to support customer and business needs)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THE PRODUCT SALES SPECIALIST ROLE



  • Driving revenue growth by exceeding assigned sales quotas for designated products or portfolios
  • Owning and sharing responsibility for product-specific revenue targets and financial goals
  • Generating and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline of at least 2.5x monthly targets
  • Managing the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, quoting, closing, and post-sale expansion
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed CRM documentation while adhering to opportunity workflow standards
  • Conducting customer meetings independently or in collaboration with technical resources
  • Updating revenue and unit forecasts regularly and reporting progress on key opportunities
  • Prospecting target industries and accounts while managing inbound leads
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and technical teams to maximize opportunity success
  • Maintaining required partner certifications as directed by Sales Leadership
  • Clearly and confidently articulating product value, ROI, and competitive differentiators


WHAT WILL YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS PRODUCT SALES SPECIALIST ROLE



  • 5+ years of technical B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling multi-product or solution-based portfolios
  • Experience with CAM system (such as CAMWorks, MasterCAM, SolidCAM, etc.)
  • Approximately 20% travel (including air travel) is required for this role
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong commercial and sales acumen with the ability to map customer business drivers to solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, discovery, forecasting, pipeline management skills, and procedural diligence
  • Ability to manage multiple deals and competing priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, and self-driven team player with a strong work ethic who thrives while prioritizing and multitasking
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Hawk Ridge Systems has determined that the salary range for this role is between $85K and $90K per year, with an annual on-target earnings (OTE) potential of $160K. Base pay will be determined based on knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including generous paid time off, company 401(k) match, and community service leave.
