  • Perform process verification and manufacturing floor audits to ensure adherence to approved procedures.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action

  • Support and/or lead nonconformance investigations related to heat treat and forging discrepancies.
  • Apply structured root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
  • Develop, implement, and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper containment, documentation, and disposition of nonconforming material.

Metrics, Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect, analyze, and trend quality and process data related to pyrometry, furnace performance, scrap, rework, and defect rates.
  • Support SPC and data-driven decision making to identify process risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process stability, and audit readiness.

Training & Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide technical guidance to inspectors, operators, and production personnel regarding heat treat, forging, and quality requirements.
