Job Description

Job Summary: Detailers who will be responsible for detailing various parts/components to assist our automotive, aerospace, military and industrial equipment customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Application of CAD skills necessary to complete assignment requirements.
* Responsible for the verification of component details necessary to meet customers" objectives, clearances, manufacturing requirements and functionality.
* Responsible to support department design and drawing reviews.
* Communicate job status to senior designer, engineering and management on a daily basis.
* Assist the design department in other capacities such as in detailing and checking, with guidance.
* Continue to strive to be the best in class. (New CAD methods/training, serviceability, manufacturing process, etc.)
* Responsible to support department Quality System and follow any procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects.

Qualifications:
* Candidate should have a working knowledge of Catia, NX, and/or Solidworks.
* Associate"s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school pertaining to mechanical designer/engineering; or in the process of obtaining a degree.
* Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Demonstrated geometric dimensioning and tolerancing capability.
* Related CAD training classes
