Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and enhance technical work instructions that support the assembly of jet aircraft engines. This role focuses on improving clarity, accuracy, and efficiency of shop floor documentation through structured, visually driven PowerPoint-based work instructions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to ensure assembly processes are standardized, compliant, and optimized for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
*Create, revise, and maintain detailed assembly work instructions in PowerPoint to reflect updated processes, tooling changes, and safety requirements.
*Develop clear, step-by-step visual instructions using photos, diagrams, annotations, and callouts to effectively communicate assembly sequences.
*Partner with production operators, quality teams, and engineers to validate technical accuracy and ensure alignment with best manufacturing practices.
*Standardize formatting, structure, and layout of work instructions to ensure consistency across assemblies and workstations.
*Implement and maintain revision control to track documentation changes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
*Conduct shop floor reviews of work instructions, gather operator feedback, and incorporate improvements to enhance usability and reduce assembly errors.
*Identify opportunities to streamline assembly processes through improved documentation and visual communication.

Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s degree in Engineering related field.
*1 or more years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within an assembly and fabrication environment.
*Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and production workflows.
*Experience creating and updating technical documentation, standards, and process instructions.
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for technical documentation development.
*Ability to communicate technical information effectively with operators, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
*Self-starter with initiative and potential for technical leadership.
*Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience with NX modeling or familiarity with CAD-based engineering environments.
*Experience supporting aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $30.00-34.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
