Project Accountant I Job Locations

Overview The Project Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Team, Supervisors, Group Managers, and Service Leaders to coordinate efforts to prepare invoices, report project profitability, and ensure contract compliance. Responsibilities Generate invoices accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner for assigned region while adhering to internal and external deadlines.
Qualifications EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION: Basic understanding of accounting systems (preferably Deltek Vision). Prior experience working within an accounting or finance field which involved having exposure to at least one of the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, timesheet administration, processing expense reports, general ledger, or contracts. KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience that equates to a Bachelor's degree. Comprehensive knowledge of multiple contract types to include: IDIQ, CPFF, FFP and T&M. Familiarity with government contracting job-cost accounting, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) including the special provisions related to the state and federal contracts. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel is essential). SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
