Strategic Insights and Market Intelligence Intern

The Future Offering Design (FOD) team is seeking a highly motivated intern to support strategic insight development across multiple consumer categories.

This role will help FOD leaders deepen their understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and category opportunities.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and skilled at transforming research into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct SWOT analyses across priority categories to support longterm strategic planning
  • Perform competitive landscape assessments, including product benchmarking, pricing comparisons, and positioning reviews
  • Gather and synthesize market intelligence from external reports, retail audits, consumer insights, and trend sources
  • Support category opportunity assessments, early business case framing, and strategic recommendations
  • Create clear, concise summaries and insight deliverables for FOD leaders and crossfunctional partners
  • Maintain organized folders, trackers, and insight libraries to strengthen team knowledge management

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex information
  • Interest in consumer products, market dynamics, and competitive strategy
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data visualization is a plus
  • Detailoriented, proactive, and comfortable working with crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver highquality work with minimal supervision

This internship provides exposure to category strategy, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and early opportunity assessment. It is an excellent role for students interested in strategy, marketing, product development, business analytics, or consulting.
