Responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials and equipment across warehouses, yards, and vessels, ensuring all inventory transactions are properly recorded in SAP and aligned with company materials management standards. This role supports marine and project operations through effective logistics coordination, physical inventory control, equipment operation, and adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Responsible For
- Receipt of goods & equipment
- Loging Receipt of / Issue of goods and equipment in SAP (or equivalent)
- Transfer of inventory to vessels or other storage locations
- Perform counts and physical inspection of items that arrive in warehouse
- Verity/validate documentation from suppliers in accordance with Foss materials Management Guidelines
- Perform physical inventory counts at all locations according to the physical inventory plan
- Shipping of goods or equipment to vessels or other locations via postage services or third-party trucking
- Coronation and management of third-party trucking services
- Management of basic facilities maintenance and associated vendors
- Maintain organization and housekeeping yard area and warehouse(s)
- Operate company vehicles
- Operate Crane(s), Forklift(s), or other equipment as required
- Support and maintain material mastering/data governance
- Reconcile physical inventory differences
- Identify surplus/obsolete materials for sale, scrap or disposal and perform necessary goods movement
- Basic knowledge of computers (Word, Excel, SAP & Outlook)
- Adhere to all company safety, environmental, quality assurance and security programs
- Adhere to company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: This position generally requires 3-5 years' experience. Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting, and warehouse experience. Physical and pre-employment drug testing are also pre-requisite of employment
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a working yard both indoors and outdoors in inclement weather conditions. May be required to work more than a normal workweek, including weekends depending on operational needs. Travel may also be periodically required. Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
Compensation:
Pay for this position will be between $35 and $40 per hour based on experience.

- Vacation - Foss appreciates how hard employees work and recognizes the importance of providing time for rest and relaxation. In this position you will accrue 10 days of vacation a year with a maximum accrual of 160 hours. Accrued vacation will be vested and available for use after successfully completing six (6) months of service.
- Nine (9) paid holidays with two (2) additional floating holidays available after six (6) months of service.
- Full time employees will accrue ninety-six (96) hours of sick leave per year, up to a maximum of 1,040 hours.
- Bereavement Leave - three (3) paid days off for a death in the immediate family, or five (5) days off if travel greater than 500 miles is required.
