Behavioral Services Therapist - Full Time - Days - Jackson General Summary $10,000 Sign On Bonus Full Time Benefits Eligible The Behavioral Services Therapist provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team. The Behavioral Services Therapist also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed. They ensure that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Master's (or Doctoral) degree in counseling from a national or regionally accredited institute of higher education, including an internship and coursework on human behavior and development, effective counseling strategies, ethical practice and pertinent core knowledge areas and experience Completion of a minimum of 3000 hours of post-master's degree supervised clinical experienced performed within two years CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED Licensed Professional Counselor Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Jackson Hospital Department: MH - Partial Hospital Program Shift: Day Job Union Code: Not Applicable
