Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seeking an Waterfront Onsite Representativeto work in Norfolk, VA.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating the successful installations of machinery alterations (MACHALTs) on naval ships. You will work closely with ship's force, RMC, SURFLANT, TYCOMM, AITs, and other commands/teams to ensure MACHALTs are successfully installed on all classes of ships across the waterfront.


Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate waterfront meetings as needed for MACHALT installs
  • Liaise between the PMs and the install teams, ship, port engineer and any other waterfront government agency
  • Ensure all applicable documentation is correct and in place prior to installation commencement
  • Conduct ship checks as required
  • Provide installation coordination, technical oversight, testing, and documentation completion for all MACHALT installations
  • Support RMMCO check in/out as needed by local On-site Installation Coordinator (OSIC)
  • Ensure all installation drawing or instruction changes are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate POC
  • Support post-installations lessons learned meetings
  • Assist OSIC with any post installation testing/training as needed



Salary Range: $100,00K - $110,000K

  • Strong electrical background
  • Active Secret Clearance


Must Have Skills

  • Demonstrated experience and comprehension of Navy surface ship operations, HM&E systems, combat systems, weapon systems and associated components
  • Knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), NAVSEA Standard Items (NSIs), NAVSEA 9090-310, as well as other applicable HM&E technical documentation
  • Physically able to access Naval ships and lift up to 35 lbs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with other teams across multiple technologies and platforms to create, edit, and submit a common product at or before established milestones

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)
Demonstrated experience and comprehension of Navy surface ship operations, HM&E systems, combat systems, weapon systems and associated components.
