Position Title: Maintenance Tech
Wage: $25-$30/hour Based on experience Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4pm We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift role. This position requires strong hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics; electrical experience is a plus. Background working on aggregate lines and/or sensor-based production lines is highly preferred. Welding knowledge is important for this role. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company in East Troy, WI. Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment - Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize equipment downtime - Support electrical maintenance and basic troubleshooting (as applicable) - Perform welding and fabrication for equipment repair and improvement - Maintain and service aggregate line equipment and/or sensor-driven production systems - Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term solutions - Work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing safety and production needs - Document maintenance activities and communicate issues or recommendations clearly Maintenance Tech Requirements: - Proven hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics - Welding knowledge (MIG/TIG or equivalent) - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions - Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Solid understanding of industrial safety practices - Reliable attendance and strong work ethic - Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred - Experience working on aggregate lines and/or sensor-based production equipment preferred - Manufacturing or industrial plant maintenance background preferred - Must pass background screening - Steel-toe shoes required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
